Hello!
I’m back again! This time I’d like to proudly present my final project created in my capstone class: A 30 second promo for a local business in South Florida. Introducing Kat Wolf Studio!
This was a great project to end my time at FIU. My group partners were amazing, we all knew our stuff. Katia was a lovely client to work with and had good feedback for our revisions.
Christal had the most camera experience in the group. She did much of the tripod and boom mic work.
Kayla helped most with our interview process, getting some good reactions from our client and setting up interesting shots for the footage.
Mariana offered great camera and logistical support, collecting lots of b-roll with the hand cam.
While I was recording, I learned that a shaky hand cam does not produce good footage, no matter how crisp the image. Yikes! I don’t know how Mariana got such steady shots with it.
Christal did the first cut in post-production, and I followed up with polish on the last cuts. It was very fun! I even was able to incorporate the studio’s logo in the end graphic I created.
I hope I get to work with this group again in the future.
